Informed by the record of historical kWh consumption and an appreciation for household habits, every job presents potential for electric baseload savings. From refrigerators to dehumidifiers, lights to fans, electric appliances and equipment vary in efficiency, and are sometimes sensible candidates for replacement. Regardless of local protocol, there are a range of diagnostic tools, tips, and techniques that can help pinpoint the savings opportunities. We'll look at a bunch of them.
 
By attending this session, participants will
 
1.      Understand what it takes to measure or project useful electric consumption information, both in the context of utility history and during on-site inspection
2.      Examine the cost-benefit aspects of a wide range of kWh meters
3.      Learn of ancillary tools and techniques to assess costs of a variety of baseload uses
