HEAT 7 - Geothermal & Other High Performance Heat Pumps: Field Results
Thursday, April 26, 2007 · 8:30 AM - 10:10 AM
New heat pumps promise high efficiency, with COP / HSPF and SEER values thirty percent or more above values from five years ago. Many newer models have the potential to provide comfort at very modest cost. However, box specs only tell part of the story…installation quality is a significant determinant of actual efficiency.
By attending the session, participants will
- Get an overview of the potential of newer heat pump systems
- Look at actual field data and case studies, including northern, ground source examples
- Think "outside the box" itself and delve into system performance
