VENT 1 - Exhaust Only Ventilation: Doing it Right
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 · 10:00 AM - 11:40 AM
Exhaust ventilation is accepted as a viable option in many parts of the country, but what makes “exhaust only” equipment different? What's necessary to ensure the system delivers the airflow as designed? Many systems are designed well but function poorly. Good installation followed by commissioning is how you get these systems to "HAUL-THE-MAIL." This session will show some of the latest equipment, controls and proven installation practices.
By attending this session, participants will
- Be aware of design and installation details that will limit the performance of mechanical ventilation systems
- Learn specific ways to avoid problems with noise, frost, ice, condensation, and mold
- Discover tools and techniques that can increase the productivity of installations in both new and existing housing stock
