MOB 2 - Mobile Homes, Mechanical Ventilation,
Pressures & Moisture
Wednesday, August 16, 2006 · 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Mechanical systems produce pressures that will cause moisture
problems in cavities and major heat losses in mobile homes. These moisture problems are hard to separate from leaks in roofs and walls. This session will
look at what causes pressures and how the moisture problems surface in the structure. We will also look at how to control and reduce the pressures that cause
moisture buildup, infiltration, exfiltration, and heat loss.
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn what causes pressures in mobile homes and how they contribute to moisture problems and heat
loss
- Discover how to differentiate between a leak and condensation
- Know how to cure pressure and moisture problems
