MOB 1 - Auditing & Inspecting the Mobile Home
Envelope
Tuesday, August 15, 2006 · 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Mobile homes have their own unique structures, which makes estimating them
properly very challenging. Without the right R-values or insulation densities to start with, the material estimate, savings and SIR will not be correct
regardless of the audit tool used. Find out how to access cavities, determine their proper R-values, estimate proper bag counts using correct densities, and
assure proper installation with a mobile home inspection guide. Also discussed will be labor costs, time involvement, and savings expected doing the wall,
ceiling, and belly measures.
By attending this session,
participants will
- Be able to calculate an accurate pre and post r-value
- Estimate the amount of bags of insulation to achieve a
predetermined post r-value
- Inspect a mobile home to assure compliance with the audit
