Freezer Replacement

Refrigerator replacement has been expanding in utility and
weatherization programs. Review some of the auditing approaches that are being used, including short-term metering and adjusted rated usage, and report on
several studies that compared different approaches. Additional program implementation issues will address replacement policies, replacement rates,
procurement, freezers as a replacement option, contracts, and proper disposal of replaced units.

auditing methodologies
- Find out about the accuracy and decision making impacts of different approaches and how
they may affect program savings and cost-effectiveness
- Get practical ideas to implement in their state or
agency
