AIR 3 - Designing an Effective Ventilation System

Wednesday, February 06, 2008  ·  3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

In order to ensure comfort, two things are critical: the HVAC systems must be properly sized and the duct system must be engineered to deliver the designed amount of conditioned air to each room. In addition, all of the systems in the house should be coordinated with the duct system during the design phase. Find out how to solve the most common problems related to duct system design as well as practical solutions.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Recognize the importance and principles of engineered duct design
2. Understand the principles of system integration
3. Learn about duct air tightness, commissioning, and system testing
