GAS 2 - Climate Change Basics
Tuesday, April 24, 2007 · 1:30 PM - 3:10 PM
This class offers a building science perspective on climate change. The same physics of psychrometrics, airflow, and heat exchange apply to weather, be it in a building or a planet. After developing environmental scenarios related to the changing climate, we'll discuss building products and practices that offer hope for a sustainable future.
By attending this session, participants will
- Explore meteorology from a building science perspective
- Debunk “green” myths, discuss real future needs
- Learn about practical solutions to tomorrows building problems
