HVAC 1 - Hydronics: Basics & Operation

Learn how to perform a visual inspection of a hydronic system. What do you look for if there are problems with under and overheating? How can you ensure that a new or existing system will be free of air? When is a boiler a good candidate for a replacement? If a replacement is called for, how do you select and size it? Improve your ability to inspect existing systems and specify upgrades or replacements.
 
By attending this session, participants will
 
1.      Be better able to diagnose and make recommendations regarding an existing hydronic system     
2.      Find out what controls exist and what is needed for them to work as intended
3.      Learn how to avoid a distribution problem when replacement boilers are installed that have a significantly lower firing rate than the original boiler
