This
session features an expert panel discussing all aspects related to implementing high quality installation of insulation (HQII) in new construction.
Discussions include: overcoming real and perceived barriers; a state energy code that provides compliance credit for HERS verified quality installation; new
HERS requirements for insulation inspections; key installation details; mitigating thermal defects, state-of-the-art cost-effective installation tips and
techniques; and regulatory versus voluntary strategies. This session is appropriate for both technical and non-technical
audiences.
