National Home Performance with ENERGY STAR ® Symposium (Tuesday Full-day Session)

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR links ENERGY STAR to comprehensive, building science-based home improvement services.  With four years of results and a growing number of programs around the country, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR has become an important program delivered by states, utilities, and nonprofit organizations.  This symposium will draw on lessons learned to foster discussions about implementing the program including topics such as standards, training, quality assurance, marketing, and financing.  Those currently implementing a Home Performance program—and those who are considering it—will have the opportunity to discuss various strategies to nurture a developing home performance industry and improve the efficiency of existing homes.

A special session will be held on Monday, May 16 th, from 3pm to 5:30pm for those program implementers wanting to learn what Home Performance with ENERGY STAR is, who is participating, and how they can sponsor a program.

By attending this session, participants will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of key issues relating to the implementation of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR
  • Share with and learn from peers about different program design approaches and tactics and their effectiveness.
  • Join a discussion about how to grow the home performance industry locally and nationally.
