Olon Dotson is an assistant professor of architecture at Ball State University. He and Russell Lewis, principals of the Armonics architecture firm, were responsible for much of the design and innovative contracting ideas implemented in Indianapolis’ first new urbanism projects. These HOPE VI projects laid the groundwork for concepts implemented in the Fall Creek development. Olon was recently nominated to serve on the board of directors of the Congress of New Urbanism.
