This advanced consumer education course session is for reflective practitioners who seek a deeper understanding of proven educational models and recent scientific research. Experientially connect theory and practice, information and learning, facts and feelings, memory and motivation to reinforce the benefits of “doing with” rather than “doing to” our selected learners.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Explore the implications of current brain function/neurological research on issues of choice and change

2. Examine the significant connections that can promote or impede learning, performance, and change

3. Identify benefits to residents and energy professionals of an approach predicated upon respect, enlightened self-interest, and active partnerships
