BAS 1 - Combustion Safety

This workshop will address the basics of combustion safety, including clearances, proper venting of combustion by-products, hazards of carbon monoxide, equipment problems, and combustion safety testing.
By attending this session, participants will
- Understand the hazards of combustion appliances and why combustion safety testing should always be a part of house weatherization
- Discover what to look for in assessing combustion safety
- Learn the basics of combustion safety testing and analysis
