Insulation & Beyond: Building Enclosures for Efficiency & Comfort

This session will cover the fundamentals of insulation, compare the many different insulation types, the pros and cons of each, and briefly address the future of insulation products. Discuss common challenges with insulation - thermal bridging, wind washing, and air leakage. Recognize the best insulation choices after reviewing the house as a system process and principles. Single and multifamily residential structures will be covered.
