Managing Target Markets

It is difficult to market the right services and programs to the right people. Utilities, state agencies, energy service companies, and other professionals delivering energy efficiency to consumers are challenged by decreased funding streams, rising energy costs, and an increased need for services by all residential customers including low income, seniors, and the working poor. Learn about interesting and effective marketing strategies used to reach specific customer classes with information, education, programs, and services for their specific needs. Explore forging partnerships, use of the web, and the use of customer databases to meet program goals.
