Identifying & Dealing with Asthma Triggers

Asthma is a debilitating disease that takes children out of school, parents out of work, and disrupts the family. While medication can reduce the symptoms, reducing asthma triggers in the home has lasting benefits. These asthma triggers include cockroaches, dust mites, pet dander, smoking, and dampness.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Identify methods to assess homes for asthma triggers

2. Determine options to reduce asthma triggers

3. Learn to communicate issues to residents and owners
