Visual Assessment & Triage for Healthy Homes

This session will provide information about low-cost tools used in visually assessing homes for housing-related health hazards. Learn about methods to observe and document visual cues for lead hazards, moisture problems, and pest infestation. Receive guidance for determining what other diagnostics are needed from the results. Discover practical tools for field application, including techniques developed and used by the Community Environmental Health Resource Center and others.

1. Discover visual assessment tools for identifying health hazards in housing

2. Find out how to document results from visual assessment

3. Learn to use the results from visual assessment to select other diagnostics
