Get the Lead Out - Local Initiatives for Mitigation

Lead poisoning continues to be a problem in old housing due to deteriorated lead-based paint and other hazards. Indianapolis has benefited from a wide array of local initiatives to reduce these hazards. They include sustained and systematic code enforcement, leveraging lead hazard disclosure, engaging retail outlets, and cooperative efforts with housing organizations.

By attending this session, participants will
