For real reductions in residential energy use we must attend to people as well as buildings. Harnessing the power of effective communication can improve every interaction and maximize the probability of success at multiple levels. This session is suitable for anybody wishing to learn or advance their people skills to improve work relationships, training, and productivity.

1. Examine the reasons for, and alternatives to, typical communication blunders 
2. Practice listening to understand and speaking to be understood  
3. Explore the theory and practice of productive dialog
