Electric Baseload Programs: The Ohio Experience

Ohio’s Electric Partnership Program, EPP, was designed to reduce the electric usage of low income Ohio households who participate in the Percentage of Income Payment Program. EPP began in 2001 based on the passage of the electric utility restructuring law. Find out what has been learned from impact and process evaluation activities to date and from program management.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Learn about the electricity savings achieved by Ohio's low income Electric Partnership Program

2. Understand some of the challenges involved in starting up this large-scale statewide program

3. Review the lessons learned by managers, installers, and evaluators during the on-going impact and process evaluations
