What is the fee policy?

08/20/2004

ACI, Inc. values not only the role you have taken as a presenter, but also values your role as a participant in other sessions. We encourage you to attend the entire conference, because it strengthens the dialogue of the rest of the conference sessions. Your registration fee will help to support ACI, Inc., a non-profit organization that depends upon its registration income to survive.

If the registration fee is a barrier to your full participation in the conference, registration fee discounts and waivers are available.  Contact the Manager, Program Design and Development for more information.

1) Presenters can arrange a registration fee waiver.

2) Presenters can arrange for a discount.  Discounts to registrations are calculated by multiplying the number of sessions being presented by $100.00 and subtracting this from the total registration charges.

3) In some cases, a presenter can only attend the conference if his/her expenses are paid. These situations are negotiated on an individual basis.  A letter of agreement will confirm any expense reimbursement agreed upon.

4) If the presenter is only going to be present for his/her session, no registration fee will be charged. It is the presenter’s    responsibility to communicate this on his/her registration form.

5) Short course fees are not waived for any presenter who is not serving as a presenter or assistant in the session.  In order to attend a short course in which you are not a presenter or an assistant, you must register and pay for the short course(s) on your presenter registration form.

6) It is important to note that no presenter receives an honorarium.  If you need a fee waiver or discount in order to attend the core conference, you must make prior arrangements with the Manager, Program Design and Development.
