Ted Nickell

Ted Nickell is a designer / builder from Amity, Oregon. For the past nineteen years he has been designing and building superinsulated houses in a moderate marine climate. He has proved that it is possible to heat one of his houses for less than one hundred dollars per year. Nevertheless, many building officials, architects, and contractors have labeled him an overinsulator.
