Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP) are very appropriate for New York climates. These back-to-back session present the basic concepts of GSHP systems, discuss their installation and operating cost, and show examples of GSHP systems using both forced air and hydronic distribution systems. The session will also discuss earth loop options. It will also show how GSHP can provide domestic water heating, space heating, and novel applications such as chilled water cooling.
