OPP 6 - Lighting: Still a Cost-Effective Resource For All

For years, lighting has been a large part of cost effective energy efficiency in the Pacific Northwest. The effective dates for the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 are quickly approaching (2012). Explore opportunities for lighting innovation and energy efficiency through lighting design and controls, technological advancements, and emerging LED products. We will evaluate current fixture pilot programs as well as CFL saturation throughout the Northwest.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Understand pending legislation impacts
2. Learn about promising products and program strategies for fixtures and CFLs
3. Be updated on LED / SSL technology and residential program potential
4. Consider lighting design as an efficient lighting option
