DEVL 4 - Achieving Correct Airflow, the Missing Comfort Link

Thursday, February 05, 2009  ·  8:30 AM - 10:00 AM

So the house is insulated, the ducts are sealed, the heating system replaced, and Surprise! The occupants are still not comfortable. Delivering the correct amount of air at the right temperature to offset heating and cooling loads is the key to providing comfort. Part of this comfort solution is achieving the correct airflow through the fan itself. Learn how to achieve both.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Learn how fans work, and understand why in most cases they are not achieving their rated airflow (cfm)
2. Understand the importance of determining the amount of air each room needs
3. Be able to measure fan airflow and room airflow
