The Northwest is on the verge of increasing efficiency program goals by a factor of as much as five times from one year to the next. It is critical that we all approach this opportunity in a way that allows us to spend ratepayer and consumer funds in a manner that gets the best bang for the buck and results in real reduction to loads.
By attending this session, participants will
1. Understand lessons learned from major programs implemented in the Northwest in the past twenty-five years (strategy, program management and field lessons) so you can build on these lessons learned, innovate and expand beyond these models
2. See the regional view of what conservation measures show the most potential for cost-effective savings as represented in the newly developed 6th Power Plan for the Northwest
3. Be aware of new policy, program, R&D, and workforce initiatives resulting from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Taskforce (NEET) that are designed to allow the region to effectively ramp up the results from efficiency programs
