Insulating and air sealing can improve building performance, health, and quality of life. Using the appropriate techniques and materials on brick buildings is both a science and an art. This session, taught by a practicing architect with extensive experience in new and existing brick buildings, will explore the issues, techniques, and effective solutions.
 
By attending this session, participants will
 
  1. Become familiar with basic building science as it relates to insulation and air sealing of brick buildings
  2. Understand products available and their properties
  3. Learn the appropriateness of materials and techniques
