Intervening in a utility rate case or advocating for a bill before your state legislature can be a very daunting prospect. This session will discuss ways to think about and act on getting what you need from the process. Why should you intervene in a rate case? How does the process work? What are other access points? With whom do you talk, when, and what is important to them?
By attending this session, participants will
  1. Gain a better understanding of how to work with your public utility commission or legislature
  2. Consider different options to weigh in order to manage time and resources
  3. Learn how to make friends and influence enemies
