Obtain an overview of the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)® for Homes Pilot Program, and learn from experiences with projects in process.
LEED for Homes is designed to serve the residential construction industry. Home builders participating in LEED for Homes will be able to differentiate their homes as some of the best performing homes in their markets, using a recognized national brand.
By attending this session, participants will
- Leave with a clear understanding of the LEED® for Homes program and the basics of building to the LEED for Homes standards
- Find out how the LEED for Homes program will help home builders differentiate their homes with recognized national branding (LEED and ENERGY STAR®)
- Gain knowledge from case examples of implementing LEED for Homes pilot projects in the Pacific NW and elsewhere
