ThPM 02 - Hydronics
Thursday, April 30, 2009 · 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Hydronic heating and cooling systems (yes, cooling also) are the most energy efficient way to move heat into or out of a building for many reasons, including ease of control of room temperature. As buildings get more energy efficient, there is less and less of an excuse to blow air around a building for any reason other than ventilation, so come learn how to do it right.
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn how to design new hydronic heating and cooling systems
- Discover how to diagnose and fix existing, disfunctional hydronic systems
- Understand the relative importance of boiler efficiency, controls, and distribution system design to the overall energy use picture
