LOOK 2 - Back to Basics: An Advanced Discussion of Balancing Building Performance

What’s the best way to spend home improvement dollars? This session will build on the knowledge of a Home Performance contractor to prioritize and set an action plan to deliver solutions, and will introduce the Comfort Home Prioritization of Measures and Solutions. This approach can be used to increase comfort, make energy usage more affordable, while maintaining a focus on safer and healthier homes. This tiered approach is for consultant driven contractors who are capable of balancing the customer needs with energy usage analysis, building modeling, design, and delivering diagnostic driven solutions.
By attending this session, participants will
- Translate customer issues into a practical action plan
- Explore how basic heating load, overall U-Value, airflow, and lifestyle impact performance driven results
- Learn to prioritize measures and services to exceed customer expectations in a repeatable process
