Lisanne Altman

Lisanne Altmann is the director of residential programs for the Long Island Power Authority. She has worked at LIPA for 11 years, initially serving as co-chair of the Clean Energy Advisory Panel along with Ashok Gupta from Natural Resources Defense Council. Lisanne was the chairperson for the Budget Committee and sponsored legislation that resulted in Nassau’s Open Space Bond Acts, providing $150 million to preserve the quality of life for Nassau’s residents.
