BAS 4 - Heating & Combustion Principles
Thursday, February 11, 2010 · 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Forced-air heat is generated at a central furnace and is then distributed and delivered to the conditioned space via a duct system. A properly designed heating system will generate quiet, filtered, and comfortable air into the conditioned zone. Explore the basics to combustion, heating equipment, and carbon monoxide.
By attending this session, participants will
- Explore residential furnaces and their relationship to combustion performance
- Examine different methods and instruments used to measure system performance
