Thursday, April 30, 2009 · 1:30 PM - 5:30 PMA new standard for infrared inspections is in the late stages of approval by RESNET / BPI. In this short course you will learn about the standard and how to conduct an inspection that complies with it. Discussion will include what training and experience are required to be certified, what infrared camera specifications must be met, and how to conduct that actual inspection.
By attending this session, participants will
- Become familiar with personnel qualifications and minimum equipment specifications required to comply with the new RESNET / BPI standard for infrared inspections
- Learn the specific steps needed to conduct an inspection that complies with the standard
- Understand how this fits in with other RESNET and BPI inspection activities in a home
