MULT 8 - Measuring Air Leakage in High-Rise Residential Buildings
Thursday, April 30, 2009 · 10:30 AM - 12:10 PM
New air leakage measurement results and methods will be presented that may be used to diagnose and solve IAQ, energy, comfort, and mechanical system problems in new and existing high rise buildings. Learn about floor by floor, LEED, and component testing. We have developed testing protocols for all US Army buildings that should lead the way in creating a new and lucrative testing market.
By attending this session, participants will
- Discover opportunities for testing and air-sealing services in high rise buildings
- Explore how to use blower door equipment effectively in the challenging environment of high rise buildings where large bias pressures and residences make testing difficult
- Learn how to avoid common pitfalls
