Become familiar with the regulations and guidelines concerning lead-safe work practices. Receive lessons learned and observations concerning ways to safely and cost-effectively address lead issues in housing rehab, renovation, and weatherization activities. This session is appropriate for anyone interested in housing rehab, weatherization, home performance, and healthy house issues.

 

By attending this session, participants will

 

1. Gain an understanding of the problems posed by lead-based paint in pre-1978 housing
2. Receive an overview of regulations and guidelines related to lead-based paint hazards
3. Learn how to better manage costs, time, and materials associated with lead-safe work practices
