MOBL 5 - Valuing Non-Energy Benefits (NEBs) in Deep Energy Retrofits

It is time to move past simple payback when valuing deep energy retrofits or renewable energy systems. Simple payback and return on investment analyses ignore most of the non-energy benefits of these technologies, and so do not represent their real value to their owners. This session will show a way of valuing all the benefits of energy technologies so that financial analyses and marketing plans can properly reflect the real economics of the decisions being made.
