HEAL 2 - Wet Basements & Radon: Common Solutions

Dampness in basements has been linked to serious respiratory ailments, such as asthma, and elevated radon levels can increase the risk of lung cancer. Terry Brennan will discuss moisture sources and common-sense solutions for controlling moisture entry and accumulation. Brad Turk will present results of recent research in three Harrisburg, PA, homes suggesting that typical radon control techniques may also help reduce dampness in some basements.
