VENT 3 - ASHRAE Standard 62.2 Update (Advanced)
Tuesday, April 08, 2008 · 3:35 PM - 5:15 PM
The ASHRAE 62.2 ventilation standard addresses when and how we install mechanical ventilation in new and existing homes. Participate in a discussion of revisions that are proposed or under consideration. Up for discussion: What different or additional requirements are needed for multifamily buildings? Should infiltration credit be given to a leaky house? Should different ventilation system designs be given different credit? Is the ventilation rate called for too high or too low?
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn how the Standard is maintained and how to participate in the revision process
- Be brought up to date on potential changes to ASHRAE 62.2
- Recognize the potential impact that the issues discussed could have on existing and new construction
