ACI Home Performance Conference 2008

PART 6 - Basement Conversions

Wednesday, April 09, 2008  ·  2:00 PM - 3:40 PM

Greater use of basements as a finished living space and higher energy costs are increasing demands for basement insulation. However, these walls have often been linked with moisture and mold problems. Recent field measurements and modeling have demonstrated the heat and moisture flows of this below grade space, and the risks of selected assemblies. Finishing a basement? Hear these guys share their experience and ideas about materials, methods, moisture, mold, and chances of success!

By attending this session, participants will
