DUR 4 - The Garage Conneciton Not the Twilight Zone

Thursday, January 25, 2007  ·  8:30 AM - 10:00 AM

An attached garage can be the source of carbon monoxide and other pollutants entering a house. Pulling air out of the garage can cause combustion appliances in the house to backdraft. Rooms over garages often have comfort problems.

By attending this session, participants will

  1. Learn to measure the airflow between a garage and a house
  2. Examine and discuss a variety of solutions for indoor air quality and comfort problems posed by an attached garage
  3. Recognize that there is no single answer to solve the "Garage Connection"
