DONE 3 - Monitoring Tools for In-House Feedback & Verification
Wednesday, February 21, 2007 · 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
We often depend on our gut feeling as to the success of many energy efficiency investments or health and safety improvements. Yet, there are many practical tools for doing your own in-house assessment to provide feedback and verification. Data logging tools and data analyzing software have become much more cost effective and user friendly. Water heater or HVAC installations, upgrading home ventilation systems, sizing of heating systems, and humidity can all be easily monitored and provide good feedback and verification.
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn about new low cost monitoring and data logging equipment suitable for in-house use
- Learn how to analyze the data without expensive outside consultants (or at least how to minimize the need for consultants)
- Explore monitoring strategies for your organization to help provide the feedback you need to optimize your efforts
