Insulating Existing Basements (Advanced)

Attendees should already have an understanding of foundation drainage and basement finishing techniques. Learn about approaches to finishing problematic basements (both poured concrete and block), the relative success of the measures that they have used, and a novel code approach to foundation insulation. At least half the session will be devoted to discussion with the audience on specific situations and details. Come prepared to talk.

By attending this session, participants will

1. Learn more about advanced techniques for interior basement insulation

2. Be introduced to a novel approach to designing foundation insulation systems

3. Understand the risks involved in finishing basements with existing drainage problems
