MAM 08 - Intro to Building Diagnostics: Making the Invisible Visible
Monday, April 07, 2008 · 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Do you feel left out when your co-workers start talking about what’s happening in the CAZ? Confused about CFM50? Don’t know what a Pascal is? Here is your chance to get up to speed on the latest in building diagnostics. After a brief explanation of what an “energy audit” is, we’ll take a look at some tools, discuss how they are used, talk about what they can (and can’t) do, and find out why some folks get excited about them. No prior experience is needed.
By attending this session, participants will
- Understand what measurements and tests might be done to evaluate efficiency
- Learn some of the lingo of home performance
- See some diagnostic tools and learn how they are used
