Michael Freedberg

Michael Freedberg is senior policy advisor for the U.S. Office of Housing and Urban Development. He coordinates implementation of HUD's Energy Action Plan in federally-assisted housing. Prior to coming to HUD, Michael developed one of the nation's first urban applications of solar and wind energy and managed technical services for retrofits of multifamily housing and nonprofit, community-based facilities.
