ACI Home Performance Conference 2007
Program Productivity & Impact
Energy efficiency programs have traditionally relied on savings "guesstimates" rather than tracking post-retrofit performance. Assumptions about measures, the results of small scale studies, and the output of computer auditing models are being brought into question by the results of large scale evaluations. Improved targeting based on pretreatment usage and fast feedback tracking methods may be used to assess these assumptions and modify program designs.
By attending this session, participants will
- Obtain a better understanding of how energy efficiency programs can develop and use targeting strategies to maximize cost-effective savings
- See a review of several large scale program evaluations, and hear of program modifications that have been made as a result
- Understand how tracking systems can be designed to support the Total Quality Management principles of fast feedback and continuous process improvement.
