TEVE 1 - Forum: Aggressive Residential Efficiency for Greenhouse Gas Reduction: What is Possible, What Will It Take?

With increasing interest in addressing climate change globally, it is time to re-examine our assumptions regarding the level of energy efficiency that is possible and practical. Discuss and explore strategies to build momentum for significantly affecting the way energy is used in existing homes. This forum will build on the foundation from the opening plenary by Bernd Steinmüller.
By attending this session, participants will
- Explore the similarities and differences in context and technical potential between the US, Canadian, and European existing home market
- Identify potential opportunities and strategies that would leverage the experience, expertise, and networks of the ACI community
- Brainstorm an action plan for next steps
