MPM 14N - Strategic Dense Pack (in-field)

Monday, April 23, 2007  ·  1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Key junctures are intersections in the building enclosure that, if not detailed properly, can be significant thermal defects. Heated air can pass under knee walls and escape from ventilated side attics. Open wall tops are often heat loss paths from interior walls to attics. This session is for experienced insulators who want to sharpen their skills at identifying and correcting these and similar thermal defects in existing homes.

By attending this session, participants will

  1. Recognize significant opportunities for energy savings
  2. Explore effective applications for dense pack insulation
  3. Apply the techniques learned to achieve higher performance in the field
