MPM 08 - Get Out & Smell the Data
Monday, April 23, 2007 · 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Measured data is often a missing ingredient in assessing the performance of retrofit work and efficiency programs. Explore why measured data is better than projections, how to learn from data, and how to avoid common mistakes when analyzing data. Examples drawn from evaluations and building science research projects will be used throughout. Bring your own reports (and data too, if you have it) to make this session even more interactive.
By attending this session, participants will
- Learn why you might want measured data and what it can and can’t do for you
- Find out how to tell apples from oranges and avoid other data analysis errors people often make, even if they have a PhD
- Have a chance to discuss and assess your own data with a BYOD policy
